How in the world is it already mid-April? You’d think we'd be getting used to social isolation by now, but... Rather than fight it, I've decided to focus on the fact that I love what I do, my team, and you! As long as I keep that front and center, I know in my heart that everything will be ok.

There is no doubt that things are going to look different as we move forward. I'm trying to figure out how to best adapt our business model to the new normal, but right now that’s like chasing a moving target. Please share any creative ideas that you have. How do you feel about Zoom Happy Hours and online consultations for some much-needed personal interaction? I’ve heard this season described as a grieving process, and there is no doubt about that, but my hope is that this will ultimately be a pivotal turning point that will make us all stronger and closer on the other side.

My heart breaks for everyone that has been physically affected by COVID-19. It’s so strange to me that this shared experience looks so different in every home. Health, financial concerns, stress, boredom, too much togetherness, 24/7 kids and lack of social interaction are all very real. I’m quarantining with my parents (I would go insane by myself!) and visit my condo once a week to water my plants. I fill my time researching, networking, shipping orders and making masks. Yep, I’ve pulled out my “vintage” fabrics/trims and sewing machine from high school to keep myself busy for the past week. The CDC has recommended that we wear face coverings in public for a while, so they have to be cute! I haven’t sewn since I made my own Prom dress, but it’s been very therapeutic and I’d love to share them with you.
