I hope you had a great holiday weekend surrounded by people that you love. We've all been waiting on this moment in time and I'm so excited about everything that this season has to bring...

I don't have to tell you that the past year has been filled with uncertainty, challenges, loss, isolation...the list goes on and on. It took a forced slow down to reflect and truly appreciate the people and things that are most important to us. As eager as I am for the world to return to "normal", I'm even more determined for it not to. I hope we hold on tight to all the things that we learned the hard way.

I'm excited to try out all of Nashville's new restaurants and dream of plans to travel the world, but connecting and catching up with friends is at the top of my list. From the minute I first saw our little white house three years ago, my vision was that 2809 Bransford would become a place for people to meet and connect - a welcoming community gathering spot, so we built a new patio with you in mind!

I've been hard at work for the past six weeks (with a lot of help from my family) getting this sunny new spot ready for you. As cute and cozy as the old deck was, it had seen it's better day. We opted to replace it with a larger patio, with plans to add a decorative privacy screen this fall to help with the view and showcase some climbing plants. You are welcome to bring your lunch, work or hide out on the patio anytime, but I'm designating every sunny Thursday from 4-5 p.m. as "Happy Hour". Bring your friends!
