Discover Your Forte

Welcome to fall! I’m excited to share what we’ve been up to in the Studio all summer with you, our long time collectors and new friends.

My goal as a designer is to explore new ideas while staying true to our classic ME heritage, and our seasonal collections allow me to do just that. Following the crowd has never been my forte. I’m an artist at heart, but I have lots of other interests, so I've never neatly fit in any box. I crave variety in all areas of my life. I need to be surrounded by and experience unique and beautiful things that I’ve never seen before. My heart rate literally goes up when I’m introduced to those things and I hope this unexpected new collection does that for you. 

Being a bit of a creative nerd is obviously my forte! I have my own design process which always starts with reviewing the ME archives for inspiration each season. Designs live in my head while I work through the story behind them. This collection began by exploring how we could physically evolve our classic ME pod into something new shapes. I throw out lots of ideas for us to explore and then edit them down to the best of the best for you. Overthinking the technical aspects and limitations of our handmade shapes led me to this collection where minimalist restraint meets casual extravagance.

Get ready to fall in love with FORTE! This distinctive new collection is strong, yet feminine. Modern and classic. She lives life to its fullest. Muti-faceted. Expressive. She’s playful with an easy elegance and an adventuresome spirit. These bold little works of art are destined to stand the test of time. There aren’t many things we can say that about these days!

We’ve worked really hard to make our website as engaging and user friendly as possible, but there’s nothing like touching and trying it on to find your perfect pieces if you're in Nashville. We always love to see you and our patio is the perfect place to escape this time of year! Limited designs are also available at our boutique and retail partners throughout the Southeast.
